The microwave handle separated from its mounting points, requiring inspection of both the handle and the inner door support.

Why the handle alone may not solve it

Many microwave handles fasten through the outer door panel into plastic supports inside the door. If those supports crack, installing only a new handle will not hold securely.

Why model information matters

Door construction varies significantly by model. The correct handle, choke cover, inner frame, or complete door assembly must be identified from the full model number before disassembly.

Microwave safety

The high-voltage capacitor inside a microwave can retain a dangerous charge even when unplugged. Door-handle work may be separate from the high-voltage section, but cabinet removal should be left to a qualified technician.
