Samsung Dryer Problems I Fix

Not Heating

The most common Samsung dryer issue. Usually caused by a blown thermal fuse — a part Samsung dryers are particularly prone to. Can also be a defective heating element or faulty thermistor. I diagnose and repair it the same day.

Error Codes (HE, HE1, tE, dC)

Samsung error codes HE and HE1 signal heating failures. The tE code means the temperature sensor is faulty. A dC code indicates a door switch or latch problem. I read the code, find the root cause, and clear it permanently.

Drum Not Spinning

A Samsung dryer drum that won’t turn is typically caused by a broken drive belt, worn drum rollers, or a failed motor. I replace the worn components and get your dryer spinning again.

Takes Too Long to Dry

Samsung dryers are particularly sensitive to restricted airflow. Clogged vents, a failing moisture sensor, or a partially burnt heating element can all extend cycle times. I restore efficient drying in one visit.

Burning Smell

A burning odor from your Samsung dryer could mean lint buildup around the heating element, a worn belt, or an overheating motor. This is a safety concern — I address it promptly and thoroughly.

Moisture Sensor Issues

Samsung dryers rely on moisture sensors to end cycles at the right time. When sensors fail or get coated with residue, clothes come out damp or the dryer runs endlessly. I clean or replace the sensors to restore auto-dry accuracy.
